Weddings are overwhelming & stressful. There's SO much that goes into one day, but I'll be there to alleviate some of that stress. When I say I put my heart and soul into my photography, I truly mean that. I wish I could explain adequately, but I'll at least say this:
Every single wedding I take on, I give it my all. I'll be your cheerleader and your hype girl. I PROMISE that photos will actually be fun! Your bridal party won't hate me (although fair warning, I likely WILL tease them, especially the unruly ones). I'll get real smiles and laughter from you two AND the way you adoringly look at each other. I'll capture the tears, the joy, the fun!
You deserve beautiful photos AND a memorable, wonderful experience! You deserve to look like your best & most authentic selves. You deserve to feel comfortable in front of my camera (trust me, getting your pictures taken by someone who makes you feel awkward is the WORST). And most of all, you deserve to LOVE your photos.

ABOUT THE PROCESS >
The Process
It is so, so important to connect with your wedding photographer, which is why I meet with every single couple before booking (usually over Skype). I want to know EVERYTHING about you two. Your favorite memories together, ALL about the proposal, how the two of you met, the best thing about your other half. Pretty much anything I can think to ask or anything you want to tell me, I want to hear it.
Next we'll dive into wedding talk! Your venue, colors, bridal party, ideas. (And don't stress if you're not sure, I just love hearing about it). I'll also go over some VERY IMPORTANT questions you should ask your photographer, regardless of who it is. We'll also go over a rough timeline,
Once you're officially booked, I'll send over a draft timeline & a questionnaire with more questions about your relationship & wedding, and schedule an engagement session (if booked).

Why Invest?
When I got married, the most important thing to me was photography. I spent over a quarter of our entire budget on our wedding photographer, and it was worth every penny. (And this was before I became a wedding photographer!) I no longer have the flowers, cake, centerpieces, tablecloths, food, etc. from our wedding. My dress has been stowed in the back of my closet since I changed out of it that night. And I'm not even totally sure where our guest book is. But our wedding photos adorn our walls. I get to see them daily. They're in our wedding album, placed neatly on a shelf in our living room, where I see it every time I walk past. We've shown our wedding album to our daughters who love reading our "wedding book." Those photos capture so many moments that I never would have remembered otherwise (trust me when I say, your wedding day will FLY by!)
As a wedding photographer, I've seen and heard a LOT when it comes to weddings. And one of the biggest complaints I've heard from other brides is how much they regret not investing in their wedding photography. Because at the end of the day, the photos are what you have left to remember all those moments and emotions. The moment you stepped into your gown for the first time. The moment you watched her walk down the aisle. The moment you pulled each other in for that first kiss. The celebration and pure joy you felt as you walked down the aisle, hand in hand, officially married. Even the little moments, like your dad tearing up or your best friend absolutely beaming as she watches you marry the love of your life. Moments you may not even remember until you relive them when looking at your wedding photos. Those joyful and happy moments are the ones you'll want to remember, I promise! And having those moments captured by a true professional makes a HUGE difference! Your wedding photos aren't just snapshots, they will evoke memories in you as you relive those moments and feelings.
Engagements
If you're trying to decide whether or not to add an engagement session, I couldn't more HIGHLY recommend doing so! An engagement session is the perfect "dry run" of getting your photos taken. No two photographers are the same or operate the same way, so having your photo taken by the photographer who will be there for your wedding is important! You want to make sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera and that you LOVE the end results. Plus, you'll be total pros in front of the camera by the time the wedding comes around!
Digital Files
I am not stingy with your wedding images. I have no minimum or maximum number of images. I will send whatever images tell your wedding story! I send those files through an online gallery so you can easily send and share with friends and family (as well as view them on your phone). You'll be able to print photos directly through the gallery (which I do highly recommend as those will be through a professional printer and backed by my guarantee of coloring!) or from a printer of your choosing. All digital images include a print release.
Coverage
I'm often asked if 8 hours is a sufficient amount of time for wedding day coverage, and most often the answer is yes! If you're unsure, we can always add coverage as the day gets closer. I highly recommend booking as soon as possible, and adding extra coverage once the timeline is all sorted out.
Timeline
This is actually something I will help you with! I put together a "Photography Timeline" for every wedding, so you know exactly how much time I need to photograph certain parts of the day, when things like hair & makeup need to be done, and what I'll be doing during various parts of the day. I want to maximize the use of your photography coverage so that I can photograph everything that is important to you!
My Shooting Style
During your wedding day, I'll be both discreet and interactive. There will be times when I'll help direct what's going on to enhance your photos as well as keep the timeline on schedule. And there will be times where you won't even notice me (for example, during the ceremony, first dance, toasts, etc). I'll also help direct your posing & modeling so you look beautiful while also showing your authentic selves. Plus, if you do an engagement session, you'll be total naturals by the time the wedding comes around.
Booking
Once I've answered all your questions and you've reviewed and decided exactly what you'd like for your Wedding Experience, you'll be able to accept the quote and sign the contract completely online. You'll also be able to pay the non-refundable retainer, and then you'll be officially booked!
